Confirmed from Sycamore Canyon Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“A very nice place with a great environment — perfect for an easy hike.”

Peaceful park with two sets of stairs and workout stations at the top. Dog-friendly. Free parking lot available. There is a playground for children. Came here to workout on a Sunday morning and while there were people strolling about, it wasn’t too crowded.

It's a nice short hike with an amazing view. The park is very serene and great place for a picnic. The creek is very nice and adds to the peaceful atmosphere. If you're in the mood to just go somewhere quiet with nice scenery, this is a great choice.

★★★★★ — Emma , May 2021

Perfect little park. Nice trail kids loved it. Some steep parts and lots of stairs ideal for older children 6 years or older. Beware of poison ivy. Two playgrounds. One for smaller children and one for older aged children. Decent parking.

★★★★★ — Jessica , Apr 2022

Very nice park, slash hiking trail. With a softball field at the front entrance of the park. Playground area next to a lil stream is kool for the kiddos. Bathrooms located here as we'll. Overall nice park, 4 star's.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
