Confirmed from Sylvan Hill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular place with a mountain biking park, cross-country ski trails & a tubing hill with tows.
What runners say about Sylvan Hill Park
“Beautiful hiking and mountain biking.”
We had a great time there, go right when it opens so it's not so busy. 3 curveball hills on the left were slower and not as fun as the hills on the right side. They clip you up and you just sit in the tube and go up for a minute or so. You can go down the hills in clusters of tube's or by yourself.
Great experience! Friendly staff! Our almost 7 year old absolutely loved it. You can go down individually or as a group (if your kiddos are a little skidish about going down by themselves). Our guy is a little bigger so it wasn't an issue but for reference the minimum height is 42".
Overall a fun experience, the staff was friendly and occasionally cracked jokes. The bottom of the hill didnt have snow but their was wood chips to help you slow down... the inter tubes are wrapped with a canvas material on top with handles and have a stiff plastic material covering the entire bottom of the tube.
It's absolutely beautiful! Great hiking and biking trails. Scenic and peaceful. Could definitely spend a day with your family and friends. Picnic areas and a playground for kids.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
