Confirmed from T.O. Fuller State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about T.O. Fuller State Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (968 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 13 mentions

“who boast that they are rated this and that, FHU and clean showers, but they don't seem to deliver with fees paid.”

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“Water, power and DS offered shade, flat sites and peace of mind.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“The campground is clean, quiet, and all around wonderful!”

Beautiful, densely wooded location with hiking trails and cultural sites. Very quiet place, at least in late October. Sites have gravel and concrete pads, both pull-thru and back-in, with water & electric. Dump station is near the entrance. Camp host on site and ranger nearby.

I had such a great time! The campground is clean, quiet, and all around wonderful! We stayed at the campsite next to the host, Robert, and he was so friendly and helpful! We walked the Pond Loop Trail and had a fantastic time. Watch for fire ants though!!

★★★★★ — Kelsi , Oct 2020

Nice quiet hike, about 5.5 miles when you do the Indian mounds also. We began and ended at the visitor center. Some road noise at times. Definitely have bug spray!

We've been to many, many State Parks, throughout the U.S. who boast that they are rated this and that, FHU and clean showers, but they don't seem to deliver with fees paid. T.O. Fuller State Park was a complete surprise to us. Water, power and DS offered shade, flat sites and peace of mind.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 7 mentions

“And the restrooms and shower area ,, has to be the best of them all.”
