Confirmed from Teddy Bear Cove - Chuckanut Mountain Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

A hiking trail through the forest leads to a wooded bluff & scenic beach of crushed clam shells.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 18 mentions

“beautiful beach, though definitely bring a thick towel or some denim if you're planning on sitting, the whole beach is covered in tough, sharp barnacles around this time of year.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 5 mentions

“Short zig zag walk lol Beautiful view going down , areas, A little muddy in some areas of trail , nice train tracks for pics , peaceful , calm Beautiful place.”

Looking for an easy day adventure to a new city with a fun small hike and lots of adventures. Featuring tide pools and gorgeous views. This is it! Parking is hidden in a tiny little pull off area, you have to walk down under a “sold” sign that’s nailed into a tree and it takes you down towards the trail where you will…

Beautiful little beach! Worth the short hike. Great climbing rocks, sea life, even some white sand! There's also a path to climb to a neat elevated area for a great view, but there are no guardrails, just cliffs!

★★★★★ — Amber , Mar 2021

As shown by other reviewers, Teddy Bear Cove is a beautiful place. However, the vandalism is the reason I took away a star🤦‍♀️ Zig-Zag path down to a active train track. No caution signs down below and if there were any, they were spray painted over. No parking available along Chukanut Dr.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
