Confirmed from Tenmile Creek Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Tenmile Creek Preserve
“That said, this is an absolutely beautiful example of bottomland hardwood wilderness.”
“Places to sit, lots of shade.”
125-acre Dallas County Nature Preserve located along Ten Mile Creek in Lancaster. Located on Nokomis, south of Belt Line Road, the preserve has units on both sides of the road. A fairly large area of woods and meadows, there is a parking lot, a picnic area, and a 2 mile trail along the creek.
Its an alright area to walk. Places to sit, lots of shade. It was just hard to get down the trails with all of the spiderwebs and spiders so I didn't go to far into it.
Amazing trail needs more attention from the city of Lancaster Please watch your step there are snakes the signs do not lie
