Confirmed from Texas Drive Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Texas Drive Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (279 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“This market is so clean and well organized and the sellers are so friendly and willing to take the time to talk to you not just push their wares on you.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“There's plenty of sitting space in both the sun and shade to safely watch children play without having to stand the whole time.”

It is a great place for walking. They have a big parking lot that bicyclists use and start their rides from. Basketball court, football ,soccer area, swing set and kids play area. Not really used much in the winter time. Very busy from time to time in the summertime. I Reccomend this place very much.

A nice, very clean park. There's a nice paved trail that takes you on a loop. The park also has a large open area, perfect for a picnic.

★★★★★ — Zachary , Aug 2020

Nice Park , paved walking trail, basketball court, softball feild, New playground (very soon), pavilion with Picnic Tables, bathrooms, soccer/lacrosse feilds with bleachers. NEW Handicap parking area with sidewalk access to paved trail. Bicycle Maintenance Unit with Air for bike tires!

★★★★★ — Jay , May 2021

Wanna hoop, go for a walk in a loop, do some pull ups so your biceps go bloop, go down a slide like woop woop? So much to do at this park and more coming with the splash pad! Great place for little ones to play on the playground and bike around.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
