Confirmed from The Box Elder B's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“It's a beautiful hike and I love the mountains it's amazing and I recommended for everybody who is dedicated and determined take challenge”

initially a pretty steep hike that will make you question your decision to hike up to the B. the gravel can get pretty loose in sections of the climb, but once you hit the Bonneville Shoreline it's an easy stroll.

★★★★☆ — Austyn , Jun 2018

It was a VERY beautiful hike. Once your high enough, and the air is clear enough, you can see The Great Salt Lake from a top the B.

★★★★★ — Joseph , Apr 2022

Hard bike ride (or Hike) with no shade until the end, up a steep hill covered in loose gravel. It is very steep up until the second bench where it becomes relitively flat out to the B. Cool view where you can see all of brigham and way more.

★★★★☆ — Ezra , Aug 2024

Been here on multiple occasions. Amazing view and well worth it. Trail starts at Bywater Way street and can be pretty treaterous at times. Other than that, well worth it!!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
