What runners say about The Grandeur Trail
Nice mostly wooded trail. Short jog from parking lot at Town Park. Ran a little over six miles from there. Probably the longest wooded path I've been able to find this close to downtown Conroe. Seems to go even longer but I turned around where it looks like the creek washed out a bridge.
Great trail. Feels much more remote than where is actually is. The website says this trail is just over 1 mile. It's definitely closer to 3. If you start at the lake house and turn left, there is a little stream area not top far in that young kids could play in.
Really like the trail. Some of the bridges need to be reworked and it would be nice if the HOA would add a bridge where the trail crosses over a small creek that's connected to the Grand lake
