Confirmed from The Quarry Adventure Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about The Quarry Adventure Park
“Gravel trails are wide and there's some gorgeous views/landscapes that don't seem like Indiana/Jennings County.”
“Although still in development, it's already a beautiful and peaceful place to visit.”
A visit to the park is a delightful experience. The park's phase 1 is completed, the one mile trail takes you around the water,...with beautiful views. More amenities including a one-of-a-kind fantastic playground, full service RV campground, and dog park included in next phase(s) of development to be completed soon.
Two trails are open in Phase 1, the "Quarry Rim" trail around the quarry reservoir and the "Devil's Tongue Trail" which has some eastern prickly pear cactuses along it. Gravel trails are wide and there's some gorgeous views/landscapes that don't seem like Indiana/Jennings County.
From what I understand, it's not finished yet. But it already has a very lovely trail going around it. Quite a neat view, especially if you like the sight of quarries!
Just phase 1 done currently but beautiful scenery with gravel trail around quarry reservoir. There are 2 nice overlook pavilions.
