Confirmed from Tripton Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“It is always clean and safe for the entire family.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“From the beautiful pond, the awesome playground, disk golf, to the selection of walking trails; there is a little something for everyone!”

Beautiful! Best word to describe this park. There is a pier with a view of a pond with a fountain, a rubber padded playground (with fun for the whole family), an outdoor gym area, shelter houses, concrete corn hole boards, and disc golf course! Beautiful scenery, and plenty of space to run around.

An outstanding asset to the community. Well designed 18 hole disc golf course within the many paved paths. Workout stations for adults and playground activities for kids.

Tripton Park would be impressive in any large city, let alone in a smaller town. Great job, North Vernon. You'll find rolling hills, nice paved trails, covered dining areas, frisbee golf, and a very modern playground and covered exercise area (the best exercise equipment I've encountered in any municipal park,…

Jennings County has done an amazing job with this park. They have added many amenities to this property. You will be surprised if you haven't checked it out. It is beautiful! You can walk the paths, kids playground, workout station, splash pad and concert area and a restaurant The Greatful Grub sits next to it.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
