The Salmon Hole is one of my favorite overlook "parks with a very nice little trail (0.7 miles from Salmon Hole to the Intervale which then connects to more trails after a short walk down the road).
Area scenic with nice waterfalls and old rock formations. Also fish elevator for salmon and trout. Nice walkway suitable for biking. Also good for baby strollers and wheelchairs.
The Salmon Hole is a great place to picnic or relax. With exceptionally gorgeous views and a plethora of amazing local species of birds, fish, and flora, there’s something for every nature lover to enjoy!
Lovely fishing hole with picturesque views, tiered rocks for built in seating, sandt beach areas, hiking/walking trails...clean. Great place for a picnic.
