Confirmed from The Trail at Stone Creek's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about The Trail at Stone Creek

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (21 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“The trail was peaceful and well maintained, with a nice chip surface.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“Scenic and away from the course for a good portion of the walk/hike, then back in view of golfers for the remainder of the hike.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“This trail neighbors and golf course so it fairly quiet once you get away from the highway noise.”

This trail is a favorite v for vigorous walks. It takes 45-60 minutes to walk depending on your pace and whether you looked to linger on the trail above the river. I liked to walk clockwise from the golf club parking lot to enjoy the coolness of the creek after the sunny parts along the neighborhoods.

I love this trail. If I could give it more stars I would. It's well maintained isn't too difficult but isn't too easy. If you want to go on a rising walk and enjoy a variety of different views and scenic spots then walk this trail. I highly recommend it. I'll be back for sure!

This is the second time I walked the trail and I really like it. Just enough nature to not feel like your in the city but close to my home. Easy level.

I visited the trail at Stone Creek Golf Course over the MLK holiday for a recovery run and really enjoyed it. The trail was peaceful and well maintained, with a nice chip surface. I saw a few dog walkers and people out for a walk, which gave it a friendly, relaxed vibe without feeling crowded.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 7 mentions

“Scenic and away from the course for a good portion of the walk/hike, then back in view of golfers for the remainder of the hike.”
