Confirmed from The Walk at Sandy Run's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful boardwalk paths through the trees, and easy sidewalk around green space and slides for kids. Dog poop bags provided in several spots but watch for poop all along the trail. There is a covered area with picnic tables, and water fountains for adults, kids, AND dogs.

It's a solid set of walking paths. The first one you encounter, the Chuck Mauk walkway, is a rather short wooden boardwalk over some water and leads to the larger grassy park. The grassy park is a public standalone expanded green area next to an apartment complex.

We found a super nice walking trail in an unexpected location! The Walk at Sandy Run has many amenities for one to enjoy. Take stroll with your dog, brave the tallest slide or just chill under a shaded pic nic shelter. Check it Out 2021

Great slides for kids. Wonderful nature walk along ponds and through wetlands. They could greatly improve the slide area if they covered it with artificial turf, allowings kids to use the turf as a cardboard slide area, like the pictures from Innovation Park in Michigan.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
