Confirmed from Theodore Roosevelt Area at Timucuan Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tranquil nature area featuring miles of woodland trails, a bird observation platform & restrooms.

Nice short bike trail. Longer hiking trails with hills (Florida hills away). You will find some interesting sites, lookouts and an occasional bench to rest or just take in nature. Great place for a short getaway, right in town. Check it and enjoy!
Great place to hike! It’s one of our favorite spots in the state to hike. The Timucuan Trail offers beautiful views, a shaded trail, and some history. The trail is around a 3 mile loop. Two thumbs up!
Great hiking spot. The trails are well kept and defined. Bugs were not bad. A decent amount of variety in the trails. Good shade. Good views. Rest room at the parking area at the beginning of the trail.

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
