Confirmed from Thomas Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Thomas Lake Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (392 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 14 mentions

“Beautiful view with cycling and walking trails which is connected to Lebanon hills park, Jensen park trails at North side.”

Beautiful, peaceful stroll along Thomas Lake. I cannot wait to return this summer when the trees are fully developed and green once again. I saw several dogs on this well paved path. I also saw one bird watcher and a cyclist. The Canadian geese were plentiful but tread lightly around them they tend to be territorial.

Feb 27, 2022. Paved paths are snow plowed and 70% dry. Still some snow in shaded areas. Beautiful picturesque trails with the cedar trees lining the snow covered lake against a blue sky.

It was a fun hike, they have a nice area for fishing, good place to walk with not long but it's fun. I love those several wooden benches along the way. You can rest a little or enjoy the area if you want to slow down. I can not wait till it gets a little warmer so we could sit there longer.

Very-very nice lake park. Many trails to walk along. Nice fishing 🎣 dock. Wonderful pavilions with picnic tables and cooking areas. Cool large fire ring by the pavilions. Very nice restrooms, probably the nicest in any park I have been in lately.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
