Confirmed from Thomas Muratore Park at Farmingville Hills' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Dog-friendly park offering a network of well-kept trails, as well as a large field.
What runners say about Thomas Muratore Park at Farmingville Hills
“Not sure about some of the other reviews, but it was very clean, extremely well-marked if you know how to read trail blazes, and easy on the feet.”

“It’s great for a small walk and easy for kids too Dog friendly as well”
Great place to go walking. Lots of hills so it gives your leg muscles a workout! Dog friendly! Plenty of parking Many trails! Negatives: Sometimes people ride their quads in there and the paths are narrow you could collide! Sometimes during summer, you get bit by bugs or mosquitoes!
Short easy trails and popular with pups. Happy to have this place in the community!
I've been to this park twice now and have enjoyed my hike each time. Trails are well kept, markings for trails are sometimes hard to find as there are two loops that intertwine. Some spots in the trails aren't marked so you kind of have to guess where the trail goes until you see the next marking.
Nice exercise for you and your dog. But I would come with an additional persons. While walking through the paths you may encounter persons w no dog just sitting there and may be alarmed and not expecting. Overall nice

“The Hills Giving Tree is in the little field that opens up to all the trails, and painted rocks are hidden in the trails.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
