We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Thomas Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Thomas Park
“Sort of a small, quiet, creepy little park, but it has the tri-county monument where three county lines meet: Fort Bend, Harris, and Waller.”
Sort of a small, quiet, creepy little park, but it has the tri-county monument where three county lines meet: Fort Bend, Harris, and Waller. That's why we visited. There is a playground and a short walking path, some parking. Had the feel of more of a drink/hang out park than a picnic/bring your kids park.
nice hidden gem here, under some giant trees along cane island branch creek/aveD & 3rd, across from city hall. each lap around the trail 1/5 a mile. cool entrance bridge & entertaining playground. i like how everything stays in view at all times (whether it's a dog or child ;) ). baby swing too.
Small, out of the way park near downtown Katy. Partially shaded. Small playground that's great for small kids. The bathrooms are fixed too! It has a paved walking path and a gazebo.
