Confirmed from Thompson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful destination for picnics and play areas for children, alongside a skateboard park.
What runners say about Thompson Park
“Super clean environment that I would take any kid to learn how to skate and is a open area perfect for anyone experienced.”
“Just walked around in the middle of the day on a Friday so it was a peaceful little place where I'm sure kids enjoy on the weekends.”
Beautiful park with lots of activities such as soccer, softball/baseball, disc golf, aswell as a childrens play ground. Also, includes a dog park for your pets to run around play. The walking paths are very scenic an enjoyable. The park is very clean and upkept.
This is a really nice laid-back Park which really doesn't get the attention that it deserves from leadership. I mainly go there to shoot basketball. While the goals are fine, the court needs repaving.
I love this park. It's peaceful and its a wonderdul park to take your kids and it also has a nice trail for thoes who like to walk or run.
