Confirmed from Tiedeman Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Quiet park for walks with disc golf, surrounded by stately homes.
What runners say about Tiedeman Park
“This is a beautiful place for a photo shoot and/or wedding both of which I've had the opportunity of being apart in this park.”
“Surrounded by mansions, and surprisingly quiet.”
“I live in Midtown, and just walk the dogs to any park or square, whenever the weather is not like a humid hell!”
Today’s Reflection It’s funny how often people in recovery circles criticize each other. NA speaks against AA, AA speaks against NA, the church speaks against the Orisha, and the cycle continues. But I’ve passed that stage. Everywhere I go now, I see only connection. I see God everywhere.
I have always loved this park ever since I was a young boy. My aunt took a picture here so the park has been in my family photo album for years! It is a nice place to sit and have coffee or lunch.
This is one of the most beautiful parks in Savannah! I live in Midtown, and just walk the dogs to any park or square, whenever the weather is not like a humid hell! Put some insect repellent because the bugs drill a hole into the skin. Other than that, Savannah is beautiful!
Nice shaded park. Paths are a little rougher then I expected. There's also a path that has a circle around nothing which is strange.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadwater — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
