Confirmed from Torrence Creek Greenway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

🏃 great for running 5 mentions

“A great place to walk, run or bike with paved pathways”

🌳 shaded & cool 5 mentions

“Easy paths with both sun and shade, lots of birds, flowers, running water and a lovely sense of calm!”

I love the Greenway! It is a friendly and safe place for the family to ride bikes, walk, explore the creek. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it isnt long enough. This greenway needs to connect to more areas. It would be great to have a safe way to ride bikes or walk to the shopping and food areas.

Nice 1.5 mile Greenway in Huntersville. It’s located in a neighborhood with no parking lot. You can park on the side of the street. Plenty of nature and shade from trees. Highly recommended for Bicyclist and walkers!

Absolutely love this trail. It's not over crowded. I get a chance to walk and enjoy the wild life.

Awesome paved trail, lots of shade. Wide and easily accessible. We had a great time. Rode a little further out of the trail up to Duck Donuts at Rosedale shopping center!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
