6.23.22 took a 7 and 11 yr old and they loved it. From throwing rocks into the Brook, to seeing spiders, wildlife, they enjoyed this short hike. Sneakers were just fine as this is an easy trail.
A quiet and peaceful park with a one-half acre pond, small beach, and an older looking playground. There was a picnic table and outdoor grills nearby. The pond is fed by a stream and there is a mini waterfall under a small bridge.
Nice hiking trails that back into the Ethel Walker property. Trails are wide in most place, and very well marked offering several different routes to travel. There were some hills, but nothing too strenuous.
This hidden gem has a beach, pond, playgroud, waterfall, bridge, trails and even a ball field!
