Confirmed from Belden Forest's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Belden Forest
Nice "main st" (hopmeadow) spot to hike where you wouldn't guess a forest is hiding. I prefer to park near the Scout Hall and begin on the incline path otherwise the remaining trails are somewhat the same elevation.
Easy, well worn trails through a residential forest. Yellow and Blue blazes intersect about halfway through, and at the far ends to form a figure 8.
A quick walk/hike up the hill from the Simsbury Public Library. Trees were down on a trail, requiring one to hike around the debris.
