Confirmed from Town Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Town Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (660 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Clean and accessible bathroom facilities coupled with plenty of benches and picnic areas make this a perfect family excursion.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Beautiful neighborhood park with play area for kids.”

My grandson is 4 and loves the playground equipment here. He also like to run and jump, a lot, so the amphitheater and surrounding paved trails are also a draw. Clean and accessible bathroom facilities coupled with plenty of benches and picnic areas make this a perfect family excursion.

★★★★★ — Brent , Oct 2022

Small, but nice park with a playground suitable for toddlers and up to about 11-12 yrs old with two separate small play areas. Basketball courts, pavilion with several charcoal grills, walking/jogging path, restrooms close to playground with water fountain.

★★★★★ — Elizabeth , Mar 2026

The town park in Mansfield is a friendly and convenient place to bring family to get some exercise, have a picnic or just have a brief escape into nature. The town park is annexed to multiple other parks within Mansfield, and you can walk from one park to another via the connected trail.

★★★★★ — Arthur , Jan 2023

A new favorite. Saw walkers, joggers, dog walkers, dog petting enthusiasts, Pokemon adventurers, cyclists, new couples, old couples, a handful of picnics and birthday parties, the occasional squirrel, and a sassy turtle in the pond. This was a good day.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 4 mentions

“Wonderful view in the paths to walk, they are very extensive as well.”
