Confirmed from Townsend Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly park with BBQs and picnic tables, plus a playground, trails, and a creek.

I absolutely love this park. It's a ways out. Located in Cannonsburg. It's worth the drive. The park features trails and tons of picnic areas. Plus playground equipment for the kiddos. It's a nice little escape from the woes of daily life.
Excellent large park with lodges for rent, flush toilets seasonally open, nice old bridges for photos, children's play equipment and many shaded picnic areas. Lots of woods. Beautiful in the fall. Hiking trails are available.
Beautiful park! Numerous shelters, picnic tables, grills etc. and all well maintained. Bear Creek runs through the park and there are several bridges and trails for exploring. There are also 3 separate playgrounds, 2 of which are new and awesome, especially for older kids (4+).
Beautiful big park. Had an event there. The Pavilion had a lot of tables, 3 minutes walk to the river(we needed it for our event), and a huge playground. It was an amazing experience. Totally recommend for events and celebrations.
