Confirmed from Triangle Sports Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Triangle Sports Area

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (300 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Triangle Hill Park in Green Bay is an awesome spot for mountain bikers of all levels.”

I go here mainly for the pumptrack n which is a lot of fun. The lines seem almost endless with all the transfers a person can come up with. I see a lot of disc golfers there. A huge hill to drive down. It would be pretty cool to see how far you could throw it.

I’ve gone year for my whole life doing a bunch of fun! During the winter this is an amazing place to do winter fun like tubing!! During the hotter months it is also fun! I remember one year they made a giant slip and slide to raise money for their snow maker! There are even some great bike trails!

Triangle Hill Park in Green Bay is an awesome spot for mountain bikers of all levels. While it's not a massive trail system, it packs a serious punch with a great mix of technical singletrack and fast, flowing sections.

★★★★★ — John , Oct 2025

One of the most developed parks in the whole city. There's a tubing hill as well as extensive hiking and biking trails. A stream runs through the park as well. An 18 hole disk golf course is laid out, and is quite challenging. The single track mountain bike trail is quite challenging in my opinion. Great park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

⛰️ Hills / elevation 13 mentions

“Otherwise, is this a great place for disc golfing and working out on the hill, and again, the winter fun.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
