Confirmed from UWGB Arboretum Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Wow! I chose to visit the area after reading the raving review left here on Google a few days ago written by a "Jarod Johnson". I was able to find the mouse running in circles described in the aforementioned review after an enjoyable several hours of searching.

One of my favorite trails in the Green Bay area! The arboretum encircles the university and the long trail (there are a couple of options) offers a wide range of views.

★★★★★ — Lynn , Nov 2020

4.75 miles of great trail walking, hiking, or running. Surfaces range from wood chips to asphalt to dirt to pea-gravel. Enjoy running along Green Bay (the body of water). Explore the mini chapel near Bay Settlement Road. Take in the UWGB 9-hole golf course. This trail offers a little bit of everything.

Okay. I’ve been biking/running on these trails ever since I was a 5 year old, and they absolutely SMACK. The inner loop is maintained incredibly well, and the outer loop has some killer hills. However. The trails are kind of falling apart. Multiple bridges have fallen, and the trail near the bay is slowly eroding away.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
