Confirmed from Liberty Park - Pond Brook Conservation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Liberty Park - Pond Brook Conservation Area

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (30 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Other than that it's a very peaceful walk seems to be very low traffic which is great if you want to be just by yourself.”

This is a 1.6 mile loop trail. It has four different types of sections, a wooded path, and a grassy path, a boardwalk and a dusty trail in a meadow.. Every section of this park is amazing.. This trail allows dogs, but I find that some people are not picking up after their dogs..

It is quite a large park, if you like to walk a lot this would be it. The sites are beautiful, unfortunately with a lot of fallen trees. But what can you do, that's mother nature. Other than that it's a very peaceful walk seems to be very low traffic which is great if you want to be just by yourself.

Nice little park if you need a break if you're passing through. It's a loop trail that takes 35 minutes to walk. The plank paths can be VERY slippery when wet. It's a quiet trail

★★★★☆ — Ryan , Jul 2025

This is a cool, lesser known parking spot and trail head at Liberty Park. Probably one of my favorite trails this summer. Trail loops, with the way I took, the loop back towards the parking lot was all on a raised wooden platform making sight seeing as you hike even cooler!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
