The Blue Trail is accessible at the end of Cemetery Road at the dead end. Plenty of parking there. The trail is extremely well maintained and there are benches along the way to rest comfortably. You can easily hike 3 to 5 miles here if you choose in moderate terrain. Bring water if you go.
So close and yet seems a world away! A great spot to take a healthy walk with family or go on a stroll in the woods and decompress from a long stressful day! Just follow the easily marked trails or let the kids play on the playground! Always a close favorite park! I hope you enjoy this gem as much as we do!
Beautiful park offers hiking, boating, fishing, and an awesome campground for tent campers and camping trailers. Canoes and kayaks for rent right on site. We are so lucky Maryland has such great recreational parks!
RV electric site: I felt that the sites were spacious and it gave a sense of privacy with how they allowed the wooded landscape to surround the individual sites. You definitely did not feel like you were on top of your neighbor.
