Confirmed from Tucker Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🪧 well-marked 2 mentions
🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“A quiet sliver of forest amid the noisy, busy streets of Tucker.”

This is a wonderful short hike through the woods. I didn't know I had this gem right around the corner from me. It's not fancy, but it's relaxing and beautiful. It's about a half mile walking trail with some beautiful trees!

★★★★★ — Ken , Oct 2018

Nice, short hike through the woods! The Friends group overseeing the park has posted interesting videos about sections of the trail, and you can scan QR codes on posts throughout to learn more.

★★★★☆ — Curtis , Apr 2021

A quiet sliver of forest amid the noisy, busy streets of Tucker. A half mile mulched trail loops around the gently sloped landscape. Sturdy benches along the trail and picnic tables closer to the entrance. Small parking lot for about 7 vehicles.

★★★★☆ — Mary , Jan 2021

The parking lot has a total of about 7 spaces. There are benches just outside the parking area where you can sit and rest. As you walk further through the entrance, you’ll see two paths, as noted in my photo. • Path 1: Leads to the bee-keeping area.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 9 mentions

“Blair witch vibes -loved it Hated the parking and narrow drive way only one car can fit coming or going.”

  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
