Confirmed from William McKinley Peters Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice park quiet and small. Not over crowded. Work out area. Basketball court. Small track to walk. Play area

★★★★★ — Kelly , Aug 2022

Nice little pocket park. There is a pavilion, basketball hoops, playground, 1/7 mile walking trail loop, and some built-in exercise equipment. 10/8/25 update the pavilion appears to be in the process of some kind of renovation. It is currently fenced off and not usable.

★★★★☆ — Andrew , Oct 2025

What an awesome, clean well kept park. My son loves the enclosed playground. Saw people walking the track and playing basketball. It’s a great hidden gem.

★★★★★ — Ruthashley , Dec 2024

Great park for family picnic and playground. Nice field for kids to run around. Paved track around playground and basketball court for rollerblading and skating. Covered pavilion for picnic. Playground is fenced. Great place for kids. Located in a quiet older neighborhood. No bathrooms

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 9 mentions

“Restrooms were port-a-potty’s, which wasn’t ideal (but better than nothing).”
