We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Tucker’s Ridge yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Tucker’s Ridge
“It’s a great mix of hiking trails and scenic walks up the hill and along the cliff, offering beautiful vistas of the Housatonic River.”
“Good views and quiet, trees are many so getting a good look may be hard”
Nice place. The lookout is close to the parking area - like 500 feet - so if you have mobility issues you can still enjoy the views of the river and the birds without a lengthy hike. There is even a bench to sit on.
Fantastic views of the river and surrounding area. It’s a great mix of hiking trails and scenic walks up the hill and along the cliff, offering beautiful vistas of the Housatonic River. I imagine it’s especially stunning in the autumn, with all the vibrant fall foliage.
