Confirmed from Tumlin Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Tumlin Park is a wonderful park that has a lot to offer from tennis courts, to a paved walking trail, two jungle gyms, multiple picnic areas, and great restrooms! I would highly recommend for those looking to get some exercise and sunshine either for themselves or their families.

There was a kid walking a ferret named, Dexter. The sun was way too bright but that's nature for you - it's metal. Next time I'll bring sunglasses or my hat but if the weather says overcast, I'll just wear my reading glasses and a carton of milk.

I had a very nice walk here. The park is nice with lots of seating areas & large swings. I don't have a little one anymore but the playground looked fun & had lots of options. The park is well maintained & felt safe. I wish I knew about this place years ago.

★★★★★ — Nita , Feb 2026

It's a nice place to visit to relax your mind and enjoy the outdoors, there's a tennis court, a play area for children, a walking track and more, I was there for only about 45 minutes for a photoshoot and did not take much time to explore.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
