Confirmed from Turkey Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
20-acre park offering a nature trail with viewing areas, swimming platforms & a picnic pavilion.
What runners say about Turkey Creek Park

“It’s a beautiful place to explore nature, relax, and even take a refreshing dip in the creek.”

Niceville was my home in the late 1980s. I moved out of state 22 years ago. There used to be a landing at the creek but not much else. Now, there is a developed parking area, a mile-long boardwalk with lots of places to rest, walk down to the water, swim, etc. There are signs describing flora and fauna.
I love Turkey Creek. I go there regularly and have never had a bad experience, sometimes kids are loud and families are taking up the walkway but they're almost always respectful. Water is nice, off-road trail is fun, and the pavilions are wonderful for picnics and events!!! Highly recommend 😁
Fun 1 mile boardwalk & I swam back the entire way. Water is super refreshing, clear & invigorating! Loved our visit. Lots of birds & fresh air from the beautiful trees. What an amazing time we had.
Super clean and beautiful park. We come here often with family to walk and enjoy the nature. It really is a hidden gem in the middle of Niceville. The boardwalk path is exactly a mile long. It’s a perfect distance to get some exercise as well as nature time.
