Just friendly reminder to dog owners who have their pets off leash. Please make sure you are able to recall your pet in case they go off into the woods after an animal or something spokes them. We found a lost dog who did not have an e-collar who was lost for 36hrs.
Excellent 2.8- 3 miles of a nature trail! Beautiful scenery, a mixture of incline/ decline, elevation, water views. This is an off- leash dog trail🐾. I go to many different trails throughout Central Texas- this is hands- down the busiest trail (people and dogs) that I have been to.
This trail holds a very special place in my heart. Nestled in one of the more scenic areas of Austin, it's easily one of the better hiking spots in the city. The path is well-maintained and offers a moderate challenge, making it accessible for most fitness levels.
Easy 3 mile , scenic trail. Off lease dogs allowed so please be prepared. There are beautiful small creeks , shaded throughout the trail , plenty of birds to watch along way , well maintained . There is a small parking lot , which is relatively free early in the morning, but get crowded after 10 am.
