We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Tuttle State Park- Canyon Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Tuttle State Park- Canyon Trail
“Short trail, but beautiful views!”
Short trail, but beautiful views! There are a couple spots that make the lower part by the water possible to get to, the easiest spot to access is near the end of the trail.
We love this trail for fossil hunting. They're impossible not to walk on, just look closely. We've never managed to hike this entire trail, as we always stop about a half mile in at the water.
Cool scenery day or night. Nice place to fish I would imagine. Trail is decently maintained and there’s ample opportunity to get close to the water.
