Confirmed from TVA MTB TRAILS' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about TVA MTB TRAILS
“The trails are very well marked and easy to navigate.”
This is a nice trail area for bikes as well as hikers. The trails are more setup for bikes with many banked turns, humps and hills. The trails are very well marked and easy to navigate. Overall, the area is roughly flat, with only small elevation changes.
The Yelling Trail is a mixed use (hiking/biking) trail that was clearly conceived as a biking trail with lots of little rolling hills and a wooden ramp. It still made for an enjoyable short walking trail that keeps you from getting bored especially with Mystery Car as a weird bit of scenery.
I'm a new, older mountain biker, and I love this place. The trails are manageable for new bikers, but still offer plenty of challenges and scenic beauty that I think anyone would enjoy. There are 6 or 7 miles of looping trails here, with no advanced jumps or drops.
Great little trail system. Good for learners or seasoned riders looking for a workout. New trails have recently been erected. Trails have been designed to be ridden in either direction.
