Confirmed from Twin Creek MetroPark's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Twin Creek MetroPark

🏞️ beautiful scenery 9 mentions

“Beautiful place to hike, different trails for different levels of hikers.”

This is my favorite hidden gem of the Dayton Metroparks system. Beautiful hike no matter which loop you choose, and I really like it as my "home" hiking spot as there are trails at three different levels of difficulty- you can choose how to challenge yourself.

★★★★★ — Chloe , May 2025

I was staying in Franklin for business for 4 days and found this park on Google Maps. There are several short distance trails (2m), but I did the entire 6m orange trail which provided lots of changes of scenery. Loved the adventure!

★★★★★ — Annet , Aug 2018

Beautiful place to hike, different trails for different levels of hikers. Some areas can be narrow with pretty big drops offs on both sides so be careful if you're doing the orange trail. I go here at least twice a week during warmer months. Favorite hiking spot!

★★★★★ — Becca , Dec 2023

Such a great park. Has some decent hills to walk up and down. Great view from High Point.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
