Confirmed from Twin Creek Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏃 great for running 2 mentions

“Twin Creek trail head or Papio trail is a great place to run, bike or walk.”

This is a great trail to walk. It's really long and has lots of paths that you can walk; both dirt and pavement. Your walking along a farm field feeling the crosswinds. It's has a wide open patha done that goes into a forest like covering. You can also rent bikes, run, skateboard here as well.

Twin Creek trail head or Papio trail is a great place to run, bike or walk. I use it for running. It's clean and an easy trail. It's busier on the weekends of course but the trail allows for plenty of activity.

I parked here to access the west papio creek trail. You can also get to the keystone trail. I did 11.12 miles in 3 hrs 17 mins. It's all concrete trail. We'll kept up. The trail leeds to other trails as well.

This is a great place to get on the metro trail system. You can go out into the wind in three different directions so you have the wind at your back coming home. It also has a place to rent e-bikes.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
