Confirmed from Stonecroft Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large, popular kid-friendly park featuring a playground with swings and slides, plus a tennis court.
What runners say about Stonecroft Park
“Wonderful Park nice and clean nice atmosphere nice conversations with other parents and kids are very well disciplined my great-grandson loves the place”
“The second reason for the docked star is there is virtually no shade in the afternoon other than the picnic awning.”
“There's a walking trail and tennis courts, and equipment suitable for all ages of kids.”
Love this park. We took our child who uses a wheelchair and we appreciated the short walk to the playground, the handicapped accessible playground(her wheelchair could drive straight onto it), and the two adaptive swings. The adaptive swing pictured has a broken closing mechanism, so the child can fall-out.
Our kids LOVE this park. It's so much nicer now that there are actual bathrooms and not port-a-potties, but make sure you only go during the spring/summer because they lock the bathrooms when the weather starts to get colder, which is unfortunate with small children.
This place is HUGE! Plenty of space for kids to play. The ground is rubber, and the equipment is in great shape! There's a walking trail and tennis courts, and equipment suitable for all ages of kids. The parking lot can be limited on days with nice weather. But there is street parking, if you don't mind a short walk.
Trail conditions & character
“The parking lot can be limited on days with nice weather.”
“Biggest drawback is that there's nice looking bathrooms that you can't use because they're locked for some reason 🤷”
“From playing musical instruments to the design for toddlers, kids, and kids in wheelchairs, I'd be very surprised not one child would complain how boring this place is.”
“The second reason for the docked star is there is virtually no shade in the afternoon other than the picnic awning.”
“This is a very diverse park, and there are stimulating fun things to play with and climb on.”
