If you like to hike and enjoy nature, this will be the place for you. I enjoy coming here for the nature and how quite it is. The trail brings you through a very large dense forest. The state just built a bridge in the woods that is very nice and well made.
Started here at the Memorial Park but then I hiked up to higby Mountain which was such a nice hike up. I found 11 ticks on my dog when I got back they were baby ticks it is a nice hike though through the woods very Rocky at times so wear proper shoes.
Great hiking. Just be sure to wear boots. Many sections can be quite muddy.
Nice hiking trails! If you take this trail all the way out you will reach higby Mountain! It’s a beautiful hike with lots of wildlife throughout the area. Cute bridges and a clean walking path. First time I ever took a hike here and was very pleased! I saw beautiful white tailed deer.
