We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Universal City Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood park featuring baseball and softball fields, as well as a volleyball court and a playground.
What runners say about Universal City Park
“Rest rooms are air-conditioned and clean.”
“park is beautiful with a batting cage and 3 baseball fields, 1 football field.”
My grandchildren love going to this park because it's spread out. They are able to run free from here to there. The reason I don't care for the park is the reason they love it. It's hard to keep up with them. Also, the only restroom is so far away I think it's closer to walk to my house.
Nice place to watch a ball game or a nice walk. The walk gets a little hot because most of it has no shade and be sure to park in the parking spots. I've noticed police patrolling and do give tickets also the handy cap spots are checked also
Nice and quiet walk with the family. Lots of Chili Piquin growing for Salsa!
I love this park. Lots of space for sports and exercise. A complete circle to walk. Restrooms, sports Plex, basketball and volleyball courts. Calm energy and a beautiful scene to take in. Tucked in the middle of Universal City. Several poke stops and gyms as well.
