Confirmed from Upper Yahara River Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Excellent trail for hiking and biking. Very accessible. Beautiful views, many benches.
The trail is very well maintained with mowed shoulders along paved paths, and wide level boardwalks through marshland near the flowing river. I saw some deer grazing in a prairie in the middle of the day, seemingly little concerned about my presence.
Beautiful park in the middle of suburbia. Perfect for walking, jogging, running or biking. Also, offers a pond for fishing but recommends below ages of 16 only. Some beautiful birds and streams along the walk.
