Confirmed from Utah Lake Shore Line Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Utah Lake Shore Line Trailhead

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (73 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“Scenic 3-mile, paved loop trail along Utah Lake and south shore of the restored Provo River Delta with wildlife viewing tower and vault toilets at Skipper Bay Trailhead.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Beautiful setting, nice and quiet with views of the lake and mountains to the other side.”

Super easy little paved gem. There was a nice crisp breeze when I was here, so I'd imagine the smell from the lake might be off-putting to some on a stagnant day, but I had a blast! The weather was perfect and I'm super excited for the new developments opening later this year.

Nice trail that goes past some cattle fields and the Utah State park. It's paved so it's nice for riding bikes or just walking. Much of the trail is covered in shade from the trees. It ends in a dead end but going down and back makes for a nice short walk.

Great little hike along the lakeshore. Me and my brother went today to look for some rare birds and we had great success! My favorite of them being the Vermillion Flycatcher.

Love this little trail. But beware of the mosquitoes!!! We did our family pictures there. It was beautiful. But we got eaten alive!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
