Well kept little trail. Bicyclists are courteous. The trails do not connect unless you want to walk on the side of a road.
Really pretty water front views as you stroll along paved paths. There are benches alongside the trail to take breaks and enjoy the scenery
Great walking / biking trail surrounds lake Vadnais... through old growth forest. The lake is a natural lake which serves as a water reservoir for st. Paul and eastern twin city suburbs. Hence no boating and no development lakeside. Cross country skiing in the winter. A great piece of nature within the NE metro.
