Confirmed from Valley View Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“The park has many offerings, is well maintained, and is usually not too busy.”

I've spent countless hours at Valley View as a soccer coach over the last 15 years, but only in the last year did I realize there were trails running through the southern end of the park. It's a new favorite spot for walking the dog.

★★★★★ — Troy , May 2021

Im new to the area, this course was recommended by a friend. EXCELLENT course to learn on, in my opinion. it provides short, semi-technical, holes while also adding further shots and more technical considering most of it is in a valley and the wind can be tricky some days. I have appreciated the "winter holes" vs.

I applaud the City of New Berlin for funding this wonderful city park. It's beautiful to walk at any age. There are activities for everyone too. Soccer camp by the Waves this summer for kids, Pickle Ball courts were full with adults, and I visited the Disc Golf course for the first time last week.

This is a very technical disk golf course with pleasant hiking and picnicking options! Found a really neat gathering spot for meetings as well!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
