Confirmed from Malone Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“We love it because it’s great for kids of all ages - our big kids can play on the much bigger playground side while our little one can play independently on the little kid side.”

This park is definitely a 5 star park! The play equipment is so beautifully done and organized by age groups. The slides were super fun to go down and when driving the ship the floor moves back and forth. There are beautiful sayings all around that just make the place feel magical.

Awesome park for baseball tournaments! Enough fields to go around. Concession stand with many options and good prices too. Playland for the non baseball players. A couple of pavilions for gatherings. A trail behind field 6 (wood chips line the path).

★★★★★ — Nichole , May 2021

Solid park. In process of doing a lot of updates so all baseball tournaments run here should be way better in 2027. The playground is big enough for adults to easily follow there kids around.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 6 mentions

“Bathrooms are clean, concession people have always been friendly and Jim is the best!”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
