Confirmed from Vesta Heights Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌳 shaded & cool 5 mentions

“Very nice shady, dog friendly park with a small parking area.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Small, quiet park with 1/4 mile track.”

Nice large park area to kids to play, good walking course. Usually very well kept up. Does need more playground things added for kids to play on.

This park is my choice for walking the track around the playground. My grandchildren love this place. They have workout stations around the outside of the play area and swings and slides and play areas inside of the track. .

Vesta has a very good trail to walk while the kids are playing on the playground. It's totally awesome. Could use more picnic tables, but everything else is great ! 😊

★★★★☆ — Brianna , Jun 2024

Small, quiet park with 1/4 mile track. Has swings and 3 playground gyms for kids. One is brand new. Also has some excercise equipment. Fairly well lit when all the lights are working. It is open until 11 PM. I do wish they had a small pavilion and a bathroom.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
