Confirmed from Ferry Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Simple park area featuring a tennis court & disc-golf course, plus trails, picnic tables & turtles.
What runners say about Ferry Park
“Well maintained park with plenty to do, playset has many different aspects and a smaller toddler sized playset also.”
“This is a wonderful, beautiful park with multiple well maintained recreation facilities.”
I wish we had had more time to explore this park, because the little bit we saw seemed awesome!! It looks like there is something for everyone. Wide open soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, walking paths, a creek with turtles and other animals, a very unique playground, disc golf, etc!
This is a wonderful, beautiful park with multiple well maintained recreation facilities. The walking/ jogging sidewalk is a mile long with many cut-through paths and some bridges. Very family friendly, senior friendly, athlete friendly, and visitor friendly.
A very nice and clean park to enjoy while at our condo. The trail is 1 mile distance and can be biked also. They have frisbee golf course, that I might try out during future visits. The creek that runs through the park is just awesome to admire.
Great park for smaller kids, elementary or younger and particularly wonderful for parents as there are two small pavilions right next to the playground equipment, but best of all the equipment is in the shade (in the morning at least).
Trail conditions & character
“This is a wonderful, beautiful park with multiple well maintained recreation facilities.”
“It's kind of nestled in the middle of a neighborhood but has plenty parking spots, fitness stations looked cool, and bathrooms.”
“I even used my bird apps on my walk, when I came to the more wooded part.”
“The Bud Day Memorial walk is always good, some cool history markers up telling about his story and his wife's.”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
