Confirmed from Fort Walton Beach Landing Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Easygoing waterfront park with a playground, small rock-climbing wall & a concert stage.
What runners say about Fort Walton Beach Landing Park
“The playground is great for families, and having clean public restrooms right there makes it easy to spend more time enjoying the park.”
“I thoroughly enjoyed the flute festival with the great acoustics, relaxing on the beautiful fresh grass, and taking in the overall beauty you’ve created.”
The Fort Walton Beach Landing is one of the nicest waterfront gathering spaces in our community, and the recent renovations really made it even better. The playground is great for families, and having clean public restrooms right there makes it easy to spend more time enjoying the park.
Went here for the pirate festival in may. Went around three and there weren’t many children until around 4! The people were very friendly and the park was very clean. There wasn’t anything sticky that would require a child to wash hands after.
Beautiful park. Very nicely kept up except there was no soap in the bathrooms. Directly on the water. Tons of wildlife that isn’t bothered by people visiting. Loved the Little Free Library, which had great books in it. Lots of quaint stores within walking distance.
Small community park that is well maintained. There is a dock for boats and fishing, a walking trail and a large children's play set. There are a few sculptures in the park and the play area has musical toys for the children. Very nice
