This is a very nice park. I parked here to get on the trail nearby. Went out and back 6.37 miles, 2 hrs 4 mins. Went over to Chautauqua Park first, and this is a nice park, too. 2 restrooms, Frisbee golf, horseshoe, and a very nice playground.
Our family n friends comes to this park almost every day. Peace n quiet, many passersby on bike n walking says hello.
No bathroom or water, but picnic tables and lots of shade. It's right on Trail A that goes along the river. If you go north, it's 4 miles round trip. You can also go south to the Chautauqua park, walking out biking.
Great memorial to our veterans. Nicely kept with statues and informative historical facts. Picnic table and walking trail along the river is right across the parking lot.
